About BIA Expo-

With the vision to make the State a industrially developed State, the Bihar Industries Association taken an initiative to organize a Five days Industrial Exhibition known as "DESTINATION BIHAR – EXPO 2018", in joint collaboration with Department of Industries, Government of Bihar, from 9th March to 13th March 2018, at the Historic Gandhi Maidan, Patna. It will be worth to mention here that Destination Bihar – Expo 2011, an Industrial Showcasing event was launched by Bihar Industries Association in the year 2011 to compliment and commemorate the centenary year of formation of Bihar as sovereign and independent State and now it has become a biennial event.

We are proud that it will be 5th Edition of Destination Bihar – Expo after the four most successful & purposeful Expo events.  Major industries of the country including PSUs have been invited and their participation is also expected. The local industries under large / medium / small / micro and cottage units will get a unique platform to exhibit their products and services and will get an opportunity to interact with policy maker, top officials and participating industries of other States. It will be a wonderful opportunity to the participating industries to make outreach to other States and have a tie-up / collaboration with other entity to grow further. Daily footfall in the exhibition was more than 12000 approx.

Hon'ble Industry Minister, Government of Bihar had inaugurated the Expo – 2016. Seminar on different topics was organized on daily basis. Hon'ble Minister of concerned Departments, Principal Secretaries and top officials of related department and experts of the topic addressed the participants and visitors at Seminars. Educational and entertainment programmes like Safety from Disaster, Cultural / Musical Programme, Nukkad Natak, Orchestra, Quiz, etc were organized to make the event vibrant.

Throughout the ages, exhibitions have been organized and considered as one of the most efficient and powerful tools of doing business and making outreach to different locations & also making tie-ups/ collaboration.
